Hollywood Storefront Shows
European Flair

While traveling in Europe, D&B founder Dave Yarborough was impressed with the colorful storefronts in Italy and Ireland. He decided to bring some of that flavor and color to Hollywood store. Traveling with the Yarboroughs, long-time D&B employee Debbie Caffacus volunteered to take on the project.

A self-taught artist, Debbie commissioned Gemco Painting to lay down the primary colors and she proceeded to bring the mural to life with her renditions of European storefront scenes. "I would like to recognize the efforts of Dave Yarborough, who worked with me almost daily in painting the shutters as well as D&B handyman Frenchy Phaneuf who was invaluable in erecting the scaffolding."

The Project was a work-in-progress and was completed at the end of the summer of 2007.
