More Intricate Than Wood Look, Ilva and Bati Orient Tile Featured in Renovation

Ilva-001When Patrice Sklar purchased her new home in West Boca's Stonebridge development, she knew there was work to be done. She was looking at a major remodeling project. She turned to Ken Needleman at Rent-a-Son General Contractors in Parkland for help. The home needed upgrades in electrical, lighting, kitchen, painting. And most of the flooring had to be replaced. Needleman directed her to an old friend, D&B Tile. She was a long-time customer when she lived in Plantation, so the experience was familiar. "Our first trip there was to the Pompano Beach store and then to the Delray location where we purchased the tile. Ilva-002 Ilva-003"I wasn't brand conscious when we visited the store. I just knew we wanted something 'light.' When Vince McIntyre showed us the Ilva 9x36 Legni Exotica glazed porcelain, I was in love with it. Everyone who has seen it is impressed. This isn't just wood look. There are five different styles. They are placed randomly. Some look like linen. Some have a design and some look like wood. It was more intricate than just the wood look. We purchased 2500 sq. ft. for most of the new flooring. "In the bathrooms, we used Bati Orient Tile and specifically their White Japanese Glass Interlocking for the floor. I'm especially impressed with the Emigres 12x36 Wavy Blanco EPC Tiles which complement the subtropical climate here in South Florida. Ilva-004"We will be moving into our home within the next few weeks, and I can't wait to show this off to our family and friends. Everything went well with the project. We were especially pleased with the selection and pricing from D&B Tile, and Vince McIntyre in the Delray store handled all of our questions and concerns with ease. We couldn't be more pleased." All of the tile used in this remodel is exclusive to D&B Tile Distributors in South Florida, so the look is truly unique.
