Weston Hills’ Master Bathroom Remodel Is Repeat Business for D&B Tile

When Claire Gallagher decided to remodel the master bath in her Weston Hills home, she turned to a few old friends who had served her well in the past. The first call was to Tile & Marble Designs by Anthony who then coordinated with Gene Sanders at the Sunrise location of D&B Tile Distributors. They found contemporary tile for the shower walls and floor and a non-skid wood-look tile by Atlas Concorde for the new floor. “I first went to D&B Tile about 12 years ago to replace the floor tile in the entire home. They were very helpful and narrowed down what was trending at the time. I had 12 inch builder tile throughout the home. We talked about the difference between rectified and non-rectified. They gave me samples to take home, which was a big help. “We selected 18x18 tile and they are now installed throughout our home. Tiles and Marble Designs by Anthony was recommended by D&B initially and we were very pleased with the installation. As you can imagine, tearing out existing tile is a dusty, noisy job. Anthony took care of everything. His crew showed up on time and seemed very knowledgeable. He advised me on the design of the layout. “At the end of the first project, he replaced the builder-grade baseboards with a larger, more stylish design that made a lot of difference in the appearance. Five years later we refinished the pool and bought pool tile from D&B again. We didn’t build this house, we bought the home in 1994. After 23 years, we decided the master bathroom was out of date. It needed a lot of work. “I was undecided what to do about the original tub but Anthony convinced me to replace it. Combined with the new tile throughout, the free-standing tub made a big difference in the appearance of the bathroom. Anthony introduced me to his craftsmen and the entire team was meticulous. I trusted him to bring in a good crew. They worked on their own while I was at work and all showed up and performed in a professional manner. Friends and neighbors are all impressed. He advised me on placing the tub and actually bought a chandelier for me to go over the tub during a trip to Home Depot.
