When Mr. & Mrs. Russ Battiato decided it was time to remodel their spacious kitchen/dining area, they did their homework in selecting cabinets, countertops, and appliances. “This was our first time as a customer at D&B Tile. They have been recommended to us by a number of our friends and neighbors, and particularly by our tile setter. We made all the usual stops and found that D&B’s Palmetto Bay location was better organized. They had tile on shelves and on display rather than stacked on pallets in a warehouse setting. We also preferred the
quality we saw at the D&B store. We weren’t brand conscious, but when our salesperson Michael Adessi told us that the tile we liked was Italian by Atlas Concorde, we were sold. My family is from Italy and I’m well aware of the quality tile they produce.
“We made selections for the kitchen/dining area and the master bathroom, which is still a work in progress at the moment. For the kitchen/dining area, we selected the 9x36 Eucalapto smoked line of wood-look tiles from Atlas Concorde. This is a rectified, porcelain tile and we think it looks stunning. We like the look and feel and friends and neighbors have also given us compliments on the tile.
“The previous flooring was the old standard tile with large grout lines. We knew we wanted the wood look before we visited the D&B store and were pleased to see the wide selection and affordable pricing. We previously had dark cabinets with white flooring. We switched and have light cabinets with dark flooring. We’re very pleased with how it turned out.
“As noted, we checked out the other tile stores but did not find the level of customer service we experienced at D&B. It became evident very quickly that the depth of product knowledge and experience at D&B far exceeded what we found elsewhere. We had the same level of service as the appliance stores. They sat down with us and explained the different options and were clearly well informed about their products, as was our salesperson at D&B. That makes a big difference and gave us confidence that we were making the right buying decision.
“We love everything we have done in this remodeling effort, but we really love the floor. It is exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t be happier.”
