When Jon andSharon Hatch decided to remodel the bathrooms in their Plantation townhome, they turned to fellow firefighter Chris Regner who took their ideas from the internet and turned them into reality.
Chris Regner: "My Company is Exquisite Marble & Stone. I have been in business for 23 years as a licensed tile contractor. I do work throughout South Florida as well as the Bahamas. Most of it is renovation. Typically my customers see something online and we try to duplicate that for them. That is the case with the Jon and Sharon Hatch."
Jon: "When we first began this process, it was decided that we would remodel both bathrooms and incorporate a Spa atmosphere as best we could. I think we achieved that. We liked the natural stone look. Chris advised us to go to D&B Tile and see what they had available. Our sales person wasJoe Svoboda and he had exactly what we were looking for. Sharon got her ideas from theHouzz website and Joe was able to match the tiles to her concept."
Chris: "I’ve worked withJoe Svoboda and Sandy Bavota there at the Sawgrass store for the past 15 years. For the past few years, much of my business has been in the Plantation and Davie areas and I always send my customers to D&B Tile. I tell them to look at the vignettes and tile samples on the floor to get their inspiration. They are constantly being upgraded and are a tremendous help for my customers. They can see it, touch it and feel the tile. If anyone has any questions on the curved wall or any of our work, contact me at exquisitemarble@aol.com."
Sharon: "The idea for the curved wall came from online. However the bathroom shown was large and this is much smaller. We asked Chris if it could be done and he took it on. There was a large sunken tub in here that had to be removed. He completely gutted the master bathroom and started from scratch. He built the wall and selected the tiles that would best accommodate the curved wall. Iliked the idea of what Icall a European look with a solid wall rather than a flowing shower curtain. We also added a LED lighting system directly over the shower fixture. When I go in there, I feel like I am in a spa."
