Product Standards
Our Product Standards & Quality
At D&B Tile Distributors, we believe in delivering quality products that our customers can trust. That’s why we have a thorough vendor and product selection process. Before any items make it into the stores, our team of professional tile experts vets each of the vendors and product lines within the following:
Reliability
The team at D&B Tile reviews each vendor’s product reliability first and foremost to make sure our customers receive tile that lasts.
Material Sourcing
D&B Tile Distributors vet each supplier’s sourcing practices to ensure that product lines are made with durable materials.
Reputation
Because of our focus on customer service, D&B checks into the reputation of every potential supplier, ensuring they provide exemplary customer service as well.
Manufacturing Process
Our team visits each supplier’s production facilities. We must review their manufacturing process and check that products are up to construction standards and codes.
Inventory
Each supplier must maintain appropriate inventory levels to guarantee that D&B Tile customers receive their orders promptly.
Quality Control
While at the supplier’s facility, our tile experts review the quality control process of the supplier and their product lines.
Only after a supplier has met all the primary standards will they be selected as a vendor and showcased in one of our nine South Florida tile stores.
Sustainability
D&B Tile Distributors fully embraces the concept of being environmentally friendly and aware of our corporate and personal responsibilities to our community and the earth.
As a company and as individuals, we are committed to this concept and strive to present our customers with products designed and manufactured by companies with similar beliefs.
The Most Earth-Friendly Flooring Finish For Centuries
Tile, natural marble, and stone products by their nature contribute to sustainability for the following reasons:
- Long Life Cycle
- High Performance
- Do Not Emit Volatile Organic Compounds (Voc)
- Fire-Resistant
- Made From Natural Ingredients
- Hypoallergenic and Allergen Free
- Inhospitable to Dust Mites
Because replacing flooring uses resources, tile is much better for the environment because it does not need to be replaced nearly as often as other flooring products. This cuts down on manufacturing, transportation, installation, and waste materials. While various studies suggest that tiles last fifty years, tiles can last significantly longer.
Sustainable Resources
Green Squared® involves one industry, one standard, and one mark and covers the gamut of products used in a tile installation. As the first multi-attribute sustainability standard developed for tiles and tile installation materials, Green Squared uses the transparency and consensus of the ANSI process combined with third-party certification to evaluate, validate, and communicate products that positively impact the environment and society.
