Last week, two of our team members went to the
2017 ABC of Florida State Convention held in beautiful Marco Island, Florida. Rudy Llerena, Vice President & COO, along with Alex Llerena, our Director of Branch Operations attended with their wives to network and enjoy time with other families of the Associated Builders & Contractors event.
The ABC of Florida State Convention gives members an opportunity to develop relationships and make connections with peers from five different Florida Chapters, while enjoying the gulf coast of Florida. Events were planned for businesses, couples, and families. Fun was had by all.
As ABC stated, "It’s an opportunity to meet in an informal, relaxed setting for the purpose of learning from construction experts and exchanging ideas with other construction professionals. Plus, you will enjoy the extraordinary company of other fine construction folks. This event supports state-wide legislative and political efforts for ABC members."
Spanning three days, the event started with a 2020 Task Force, ABC of Florida Board Meeting, and an opening night reception. The second day included a planning conference and individual chapter dinners. The final day offered a day at the beach followed by everybody's favorite...Viva Las Vegas Casino Night Dinner Party. We all dressed up and rolled the dice.
