Vince McIntyre
This transaction was handled by then Sales Manager Vince McIntyre who was recently promoted to Branch Manager at the Delray location. In addition to featuring the D&B Tile used in the Bonventre home, we would like to recognize Vince for his rapid rise to upper management in the D&B organization. We strive to promote from within and pride ourselves on the fact that most of our employees are veterans in the industry and, many have been with D&B Tile their entire career.
Vince McIntyre is no exception. He started his career as a warehouseman in the Sunrise store and was promoted to Warehouse Manager at the Delray location. “After a few years in that position, learning inventory control and working with people, I was moved inside to become a member of the sales staff and eventually became the top salesperson in that location. I held that title for nine years,” said Vince.
“I feel that most of my success is due to the fact that I am detail oriented and strive to determine which products would best serve the customers’ needs and then follow up after the sale. It worked for me and I try to pass that down to the salespeople in my store.
“D&B Tile Distributors is an excellent place to work and we are always looking for competent, dedicated people to serve our customers,” said Vince.
“We have a great mix of people here in Delray; they are a diverse group. We have people from Trinidad, Brazil, New York and other parts of the country. Three languages are spoken here and there’s always room for another good person.”
To see these and other domestic and imported tiles from around the world, visit any of the conveniently located D&B Tile stores throughout South Florida. Remember the first step to beautiful design is stepping into D&B Tile.

Industry Professionals Buy from the Tile Experts at D&B Tile Distributors
Paolo Bonventre is a licensed contractor specializing in home renovations. His company, Bonventre, Inc. has been serving Palm Beach County for the past 27 years. “When we need tile and stone products, we go to D&B Tile. I have been a customer there since we opened our business. We deal mostly with the Delray Beach store and specifically with Vince McIntyre. I like their products, their pricing and their service after the sale,” said Paolo.
“When we decided to remodel the pool deck in our home, we tore out the existing paver-look tile and replaced it with a rectified porcelain tile that offered a slip-resistant surface around the pool. Everyone who sees it, and the rest of the tile throughout the house is impressed with the colors, textures and sizes of the tile, all of which came from D&B Tile.”
Rectified tile is fired tile--ceramic or porcelain--that has been mechanically cut or ground down to an exact size. Since it applies only to the tile’s edges, it is called an edge treatment. Additionally, the edges are usually precisely cut at a square: a 90-degree angle.
