When Nelson de la Rosa, with Suncoast Beach Realty, purchased this semi-detached townhouse in Miami, he knew it needed a lot of work before he put it on the market. He retained RPM Construction, also in Miami, to do the complete renovation. “I designed the entire house inside and out and turned that over to RPM. They did a complete tearout and gave the unit an ‘open’ concept design. We knew we wanted tile throughout the home and contacted Rosanna Ruiz at the D&B Tile store in Doral. She was extremely helpful in recommending all of the tile for the interior as well as the waterline tile for the pool.”
Before the renovation, the home was standard design for the area, featuring arched doorways, orange barrel tile roof and beige exterior paint. What he ended up with is a completely fresh, new look that stands out from the rest of the neighborhood. The overall color theme for the entire unit is white and that includes walls, floors and stair tiles. The open concept design is bright and contemporary and offers the new owners a fresh new palette for their new home.
